Meeting Our general meeting is at the Tulare County Office of Education Building (corner of Woodland and Burrel Avenues) in Visalia. We meet on the third Friday of each month at 7 p.m. The first part of the meeting is business and usually lasts 20-30 minutes. The second part of the meeting includes a speaker on a conservation topic, open questions, and refreshments. We meet only during the school year (September - May) and we do not have general meetings in December and January. In January, we meet at the Friends Meeting House for our annual potluck. Directions are: take 198 East to the Farmersville exit. Go back over Highway 198 and follow the frontage road east to its very end. The Friends House is located up the dirt drive within the mature shrubbery. Our monthly field trips leave from the Sears parking lot on the corner of Caldwell and Mooney Blvd. Meeting times are listed in the Tappings or on the calendar section of this website.
