February 25  Field TripMerced Wildlife Refuge-  Penny Stewart
Joint field trip with Fresno Audubon. Meet at Sears parking lot at Caldwell and Akers at 7:15 for a 7:30 sharp departure. Meet in Fresno at Blackstone and Ashlan at 8:15. Then we will carpool to Merced WR for a long day. Bring binoculars, food, water and all weather clothing. Call Mary for info 732-5459

March 17 Field Trip -  Herbert Wetland Preserve - Rob Hansen 
Meet at Sears parking lot at Caldwell and Mooney at 7:15 for a 7:30 departure. The Preserve is only a few miles from Visalia and is good for grassland species as well as waterfowl in a wet year. Usually it is difficult to access so we welcome our renowned guide.

 

February 24 Meeting 7pm  - Pam Coz-Hill - Wildflowers of Tulare County and Sierra Nevada
Tulare County Office of Education 7PM Burrel and Woodland Pam Coz-Hill, who specializes in wildflower photography, will present her program of fabulous native wildflowers of Tulare County and environs.

March 16 Meeting 7pm -  Danny Gammons-  Bears in Sequoia

Burrel and Woodland
Daniel, the present bear expert in SEKI National Park, will speak on the Park Service's efforts to monitor and protect this iconic species of the Sierra Nevada, along with a good bear story or two.
